We offer coaching, resource coordination, and transition support to help individuals with disabilities and their families access the services they deserve.

We work with individuals of all ages with intellectual or developmental disabilities, their families, caregivers, and professionals seeking guidance through California’s disability service systems—including IEPs, Regional Center services, Medi-Cal, and the Self-Determination Program.

🔄 What is the Self-Determination Program (SDP)?

SDP is a California initiative that allows individuals with disabilities to choose their own services and supports using a personalized budget. We help families transition into SDP by guiding them through person-centered planning, budget development, and coordination with Independent Facilitators and Financial Management Services.

💰 How much do your services cost?

All of our services at EmpowerConnect Services are offered completely free of charge. We believe that every family deserves access to support, advocacy, and guidance—regardless of financial circumstances.

While we do not charge for our services, we gratefully accept donations to help us grow, expand our reach, and continue supporting families in need. Every contribution goes directly toward building inclusive resources, hosting community trainings, and providing one-on-one support to those navigating complex systems.

📍 Are your services only available in San Diego County?

While we’re based in Southern California, many of our services are available virtually across the state. We also collaborate with Regional Centers and school districts throughout California.

🧾 Do you help with Medi-Cal or IHSS applications?

Yes—we offer healthcare advocacy that includes Medi-Cal navigation, IHSS guidance, and support with documentation and provider communication.

🗣️ Can you speak at our event or training?

Absolutely! We offer speaking engagements and workshops for schools, nonprofits, and community organizations. Topics include disability advocacy, inclusive education, and navigating California’s support systems.
